Moll. 1,793 Posted November 25, 2011 Report Share Posted November 25, 2011 More help needed please Firstly could the people who have my email addy please email me as i have lost everyones email addresses Just got PC back from repairers. I asked for all of my emails (inbox, saved, sent etc) and my addresses to be saved, i have lost everything, does anyone know of a way to get them back. The problem with my pc was, the mother board was broken....would that have lost my emails? How do i get spell check back. My photos, favourites etc have been stored in drive E for some reason, how do i get my photos back in my documents and favourites back onto google. Many thanks. Moll. 1,793 Posted November 25, 2011 Author Report Share Posted November 25, 2011 I also seem to have aquired a spell check on my emails, which would be a welcome addition as i have never had one before, except this on is for French, and there is no other options in the drop down box for any other language, so everytime i try to send an email it is telling me nearly every word is spelled wrong cos it is not writtten in french Quote Link to post Share on other sites

You should be able to log on to your e-mail account with a user name and password and it should all be as you left it As for your pictures, providing the hard drive has not been formatted that should all be ther also Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Moll. 1,793 Posted November 25, 2011 Author Report Share Posted November 25, 2011 I had to re- (whatever you call it) my email, re-enter the pop3 etc etc. I dont know what re-format a hard drive means, all i know is my photos etc are all in a folder in drive E and i cannot fathom out a way to put them back into my documents or favourites into google. Still cannot upload my pics from the camera Hi Moll try this to decide the default software to open your pics with: Navigate to the folder were your pics are saved. Hover your mouse pointer over one of your picture files. Click the right mouse button and a menu should pop up. Move your pointer over the Properties text and press the left mouse button. A new Properties window should popup and there should be a section that says open with as well as a button that says Change... Click on this button. A new window will open with a list of Recommended Programs. Click the left button once on the Program you want these files to open with and click on the ok button. If this worked for you successfully the icon for the files should change to that of the program you selected for the files to be opened with. Photos emailed to me i cannot still. I was up till nearly 3am trying to sort things on here, it is doing my heeeeeed in Also....the games you normally have on your pc in your settings/control panel, spider solitaire etc, are no longer there, have tried everything to try to get them back..
