I have bought 2 of these 1 in green and camo ....they are good jackets with a handy binocular pocket, high collar and longer back for sitting down and keeping your erse dry very light wieght and quiet but best of all these jackets are very water proof ....the down side is there is no breatheability and you can sweat a bit good bit of kit though any one else got them?

have you tried a montane?? wonder how these compare to them, i rate the montane but its not waterproof but as an thermal under a waterproof they take some beating

dont wear a flat surfaced material such as cotton against the inside of the jacket. They don't allow the moisture transfer through to the outside. a thin fleece as the first layer allow more airflow and greater moisture transfer and reduces condensation on the inside of the jacket.

I was just looking at one of them in the bushwear catalogue,was going to get one for when out with terriers but if you sweat a lot dont think ill bother.Does anybody know of any other good waterproof smocks with good breathability.
