Swap T 8 Moderator for Swap or For Sale

I have a second hand T 8 moderator that is fitted to .308 styer.

 

The reason for sale is that the styer is light rifle but the T 8 is to heavy and makes it of balance.

 

It weight is 650 grams.

 

It came fitted to the styer when i bought it and the rifle was about 5 years old and so was the moderator, there is bits of rust a scratchs but its not brand new.

 

I'am told there about £200 new some i would swap with something of the same value new or second hand.

 

I would be looking for £150.00 to sell it.

i'am not sure what you mean, all i know is that it's about 1/2 inch thread. does this answer you question?

Ok in order to get some intrest to sell your mod you realy need to know or you need to tell people excactly what the thread inside the mod is,ie 1/2unf,1/2unef,m14x1,5/8unf,5/8unef and theres a load more,if the guns thread can be checked by a gunsmith or gunshop or you know what the thread on the gun is that the mod fits,and it isnt a mod that you have bought thread unknown then the rifle thread will tell you but at the end of the day buddy mod thread needs to be known cheers paul.

^{you also may need to send it to a rfd as the moderator is classed as a firearm in its own right, and if it came on a steyr the thread is most likly a 1/2" unf 20 tpi.}

^{check with your firearms department before you sell this as its recorded on yout certificate, and a 5 year old t8 with rust is possibly only fit to be put in the bin mate, if its rusty on the outside its going to ba alot worse on the inside and could cause problems when its used (like blow up in your face)}

I was told that moderators last as long as the does. With th T8 i can't open it to clean it out.

if you sell the mod it will have to be reprofed for new gun
