27th November? I'm sure we got snow earlier up here last year? Dreading it, a little snow is good, adds a Christmas feeling- a lot is a total pain in the arse and a recipe for disaster

Just over a week ago some of the national newspapers were saying forecasters were telling us to get ready for below freezing temperatures, and heavy snow within a fortnight. The same night there was a programme on TV called 'will it snow?', and the forecasters on there were saying that it would probably be a mild winter.

The forecasters in the programme were very honest in that they said even with all the technical equipment they now use, they can't accurately predict more than a few days in advance. So it's basicly, wait and see.

Personally I think by the law of averages we won't get much snow this year, but I for one am sick of it being so mild, I'm fed up of sweating my b**llocks off every time I'm out!

They were telling us to prepare for early snow a few months back but it don't look like it at the minute. The only thing they can predict with 100% certainty at long range is that the fecking weather is going to be nigh on unpredictable at long range.. I don't even know why they bother trying! :D

to true lab,get it out the way now.im pretty sure it was snowing last year before the 27th.

2 reasons for that mate........1. Its great a bit of snow on the ground to keep the birds in where you want them, although i dont have my own shoot this year its still nice on shoot days to see plenty birds.......2. I get my laying stock in Feb' and i have big nets on the pens and when the snow comes heavy it fucks them and if theres too much the nets will come right down and burst and the birds will f**k off!!!.................. :censored: :censored: :censored:
