My first lurcher

i havent got a photo of my first it was before cameras were invented but he was a black and white 3/4 cur with yellow eyes called jazz. Couldnt catch a hare unless it was in a wheelchair but a great lamp dog who could work all night then go out ferreting all day. good dog with the gun as well. What made him so good was that i was young hunting and shagging was all i was interested in and having red hair meant that there wasnt a lot of shagging going on So i spent a lot of time working the dog and the collie in him made him a quick learner
