Triggers Pup. just back from a long night.

Hello all.

 

I set off at 8pm last night and have just got home ..had to have a little kip on way back becasue i was very tired..LOL.

 

Had a great night with Trigger and young Buster and my dog.

 

The pup is astoundingly good on the lamp for an 8 month old dog/He spots sitters like and old pro.Runs the beam like an dog much older and wiser..He is faultless in his game..We had a great night and i must say its a pleasure to stand back and watch him work now..hes well on the way to becoming a dog anyone would be proud to call there own..I wactched him do some amazing catches (one while still on the lead as my dog was running it).We had a good laugh at a couple of Kamakzi bunnies that my dog caught,

 

we ran each dog alone and gave them good rests as it was blowing a good amount of wind but still very warm.

 

young Buster acounted for 11 good rabbits,some of them very tricky runs.

 

my little un managed 6 .. 2 0f which were fence bouncers..LOL.. she was a bloody nightmare and seems to be going backword at the moment...not 1 single retrieve and she,s now taken to dropping them for a bit more of a run,before she drops them wherever she ends up with no attempt to retrieve.. she was never a good retriever in 1st place but i had made a bit of progress but all seems back to square 1 again with her..she,s like a sulky saluki..sometimes she,s eager to please other times she just pleases herself..LOL.

Back to basics again..keep drilling it home till one day it,ll all click into place.

Sounds like u had a good nite mate and noworries when u get her retrieve right shell be up there whith the best of um dont forget she aint a pup youve brought on urself she was a mistreated dog youve given a second chance in life so good on you for sticking whith her many wouldnt have

thanks for the good report on my pup but hes still got alot to learn. it wasnt a bad night to be fare mate, its a shame the rabbits at the first stop were lamp shy we might have had a better night. hows mollie today is she recovered? busters out side ripping round the garden playing with the terrier.

well done lads, keep at it vin with the pup, you get there in end. I know what you mean with jon's pup buster, he is brill for is age, sometimes you forget he is 8 months old , he will be hell of a dog when he is 2 year old . Tod my pup back in sick bay, his shoulder as swoll up again, not sure how this lot will turn out., shame he was doing great as well ..!

Hello mate..mollys front left leg has a little puncture wound at the top of the leg...only a small hole but its giving her some pain..its quite swollen and she,s playing the sympathy card full on mate...LOL..

I think she will be ok in a few days..nothings broken and it just looks like she,s nocked it up a little.. its a good excuse for her strange behavior last night..

 

it was a cracking night though mate..thats 1st catch of busters was poetry in motion.
