NPTC Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross Cutting Certificate at Oaklands CollegeCourse Details Phone Course description This course consists of training in the NPTC Operation of chainsaws CS30. It includes CS30.1 includes: PPE and Risk assessment; dismantling and check the saw, saw safety, test for correct operation, sprocket and chain types, emergency planning, servicing the bar, chain sharpening, chain and bar identification, fuel and air filters; CS30.2 includes: PPE, assessment of tension compression forces, cross cutting techniques, correct use of associated tools, fuel and lubricants, cold and warm starting, boring, freeing trapped freed saws, safe lifting and correct stance.
