Why not use a doberman in a make up a lucher??????There as been so many crosses some that worked and some that have not you never know until you try it.When people started using jackrussells,borders,collies,wheaten s,pits,staffs,G shepherd,labs,pointers,foxhounds,harrier hounds, etc etc the list goes on and on did we know at the start that this would all work out?????At the end day the only people that judge this cross is the people have run one or seen one work .Everything else is hear say

what people are saying is if they don't work out...therel be another added shit bit to lurchers ...there's enuff crosses for every purpose ...why risk it

 

its just 10 puppys i dont think that they will change future history of the lurcher, if there no good then no one will breed them.

Because there is lots of xs out there to use on bunnys never mind bringing another pointless breed into the game what is a doberman going to bring to the lurcher world that the xs we av carnt?

it seems the only crosses were back in the day and the people that mention these dogs havent said anything bad about them have they? at least if i do a report on theses dogs( i will try and get there owners to sign up here and give reports to) and they turn out no better or not very good then at least this get around the uk and the world(thanks to the internet) and people wont bother trying to breed them.

If they dont work out out you do the right thing put it down.To many people try different crosses as l said some work out and others don't .What peoples proplems is that the ones that dont work out they dont do the right thing

 

or we could encourage people who buy dog breeds that are geneticly ill, have genetic defects or poor genetic health, to buy a lurcher instead, that may not be cut out for hunting but would other wise make an excelent and healthy home dog.
