  3. a bit early i know but these are lurcher x doberman pups at 3weeks and 5 days old
  4. what people are saying is if they don't work out...therel be another added shit bit to lurchers ...there's enuff crosses for every purpose ...why risk it If they dont work out out you do the right thing put it down.To many people try different crosses as l said some work out and others don't .What peoples proplems is that the ones that dont work out they dont do the right thing or we could encourage people who buy dog breeds that are geneticly ill, have genetic defects or poor genetic health, to buy a lurcher instead, that may not be cut out for hunting but would other wise make an excel
  5. what people are saying is if they don't work out...therel be another added shit bit to lurchers ...there's enuff crosses for every purpose ...why risk it its just 10 puppys i dont think that they will change future history of the lurcher, if there no good then no one will breed them. Because there is lots of xs out there to use on bunnys never mind bringing another pointless breed into the game what is a doberman going to bring to the lurcher world that the xs we av carnt? lets find out it seems the only crosses were back in the day and the people that mention thes
  6. to give a bigger frame might have been good pre ban on bigger game maby? Wouldn't adding deerhound be much better? well i asume when you say use a collie its to add brains/biddability to the mix ? somthing a dobermann has. im not saying the deerhound is not inteligent but i dont think biddability is its strong point?
  7. to give a bigger frame might have been good pre ban on bigger game maby?
  8. heres the first pic of the puppies, post the next pic in three weeks time as they start to develop more.
  9. 'thick as pigshit and had no drive or desire',' Bucket full of water springs to mined',etc etc lol i dont think theres much point me defending the dobermann, as there are crap breeders and there are good breaders of doberman, unfortunatly for the dobermann most but not all breeders are breeding for looks and nothing else, as is the case with alot of breeds in the uk. but there are breeders out there that breed there dogs for there original perpose. heres some pics of the dobermann and the lurcher will post some pics of the puppy later on in the day when i get the cam out
  10. my bitch dobermann has just had a litter puppies 10 to be exact 2 weeks ago , the sire is a lurcher 3/4 greyhound 1/8 border collie 1/8 bearded collie. half have the puppies have roughly the same markings as the sire but the other half have the same markings as the dobermann but the colouring is the other way round instead of black and tan its tan and black ie were the dobermann has tan patches and black all over the pups have black pacthes but are tan all over ( although they do all have white chest hair from the lurcher ).
  11. have to agree with dannyevans1990 i got a bitch dobermann no training needed with her, plus the misconceptions they have from films deters people from the start.Really good with kids, i live next to a walk way and the kids sometimes kick there footballs over, she will come running outside bark and grawl like crazy but will never get closer than 5 feet away and will stay there till i come out, the last thing i want is a dog ripping a kid apart. outside the house on the street no problem of the lead. appearance is defo best defence, i had a bloke jump over my fence last year in the dark so let m
