sub sections for terriers

i see there is new sub sections in ferretting. do you folk think that terriers could do with the same treatment. ie be spit into different catagories like earthdogs. ratting and rabbiting. bushing terriers/sporting terriers. it would maybe give the folk that dont work there terriers to ground more confidence to post with a little less intimidation. just putting it out there what do you all think. ?

there is a lot of people keep terriers for different types of work.in my eyes any terrier that is there for a job is a working terrier whether it is ratting,bushing or digging but some people dont see it like that.they think they have to be digging but its horses for courses in my eyes.

I think it's a good idea, there'd be less bickering IMO as people would stick to the section that suits them.

All I can say is it's been highly successful in the airgun section for a good while now. Time will tell if it has the same effect in the ferret one.

its definately worthy of some consideration. and debate. i keep plummers and russells and have done most forms of terrierwork. and would probably be posting in more than one section. it would be a lot easier to spot the spoilers. as they would have to cross the subsections to make the one liners. that kill off many a good thread.

Its been done before i think mate but it turned into a sub forum about what bull terriers were oridginaly bred for so it was deleted.

How about a section for show dogs, a section for earthdogs, a section for bushing/rabbiting/ratting dogs, then a section for all the other 'wankers' who post in here

If the uses overlap then put it in the one most applicable.
