kx100 66
hi what do you think of the logun s16 and the logun gemini Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
Not used the Gemini mate but owned a S16 Evo in .177 that was very accurate. I heard that the models before the Evo suffered loading and jamming problems on some rifles. I didnt have a problem with it on my Evo. If your happy with it pal and your getting good results it doesnt matter what others think pal. One mans squat is another mans castle. ATB Si. Quote Link to post

secretagentmole 1,701
Parts may not be the problem reported, remember the Edgar Brothers XVI is basically an S16! Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
Hi Mike, From what Ive heard from mates that shoot the XVI with me here in Canada its alot better than the S16 though buddy. Not only internally but to shoot as well. From what they say its fantastic and as accurate as you can shoot it really like a AA, BSA, Daystate etc. Your right about alot of the main parts the same as the S16 though. Not sure how easy it would be to get then through Edgar Brothers though. Maybe better emailing Ripley Rifles and chatting to Jim Hogan the designer he would be the best bet I reckon. Have you seen the Nigel Allen review of the XVI? Here it is for those that havent seen it. ATB Si. Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
Dont talk to Ripley! Jim Hogan is now at Redbeck! Quote Link to post
fry 209
looks like a handy tool i like a rifle with a bit of wood in it though. Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
Interesting review, think I will stick to my evil pair of Super 10s though! Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
My thoughts exactly Fry! Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
I suppose its another Marmite rifle. Same for the Gun Power Stealth and Storm. I liked them both and did pretty well with them both when i owned them. Some hate them though. Good info Mike ref Jim Hogan . Didnt know that buddy cheers. ATB Si. secretagentmole 1,701
Yeah when Mary picked up her HW100 we got to meet Mr Hogan, a very nice man indeed. It needed the power reducing slightly and he is now the gun smith at Redbeck, so if you want to meet a legend or fix your S16, you know where to go! Quote Link to post
