am on the look out for some new permission in merseyside, cheshire area any ideas? for ferreting with the dog, please dont suggest lord derbys you have to be in the masons or something to get in there haha (i was cheeky enough to ask so I know)

Plus looking for an older ferret as mine is only 12 weeks and cant keep borrowing my mates. any ideas welcome

You won't find any staring at a computer best bet is get out this weekend start small permissions permission stables paddocks even big gardens farms to

alot i went to were part of lords derbys estate, have spoken to afew golf courses they aint got back yet got afew places to try tomoz

just keep trying knocking on doors as said.a lot of permission is tied up in the areas you mention. but hopefully you will get lucky

Fingers crossed, or i will have to resort to bribe tack tick's hahaha

Big estates are a nuisance, we're surrounded here. I have to keep going back to my old ground all around where we used to live which is 45 mins away, not too bad but if you lamp a few times a week and ferret the weekends the diesel bill soon adds up!

 

Trying the small places is good advice, often very easy to get on which then gives you an "in" with the larger neighbours. If your only ferreting you can get a good bit of sport from small spots, its lamping which needs alot of acres and that is hard to get for sure.
