Big Nick 8 Posted August 17, 2011 Report Share Posted August 17, 2011 Hi everyone Came home from work earlier having had a very hard day with the full intention of chilling out, anyway walking past the gun cabinet to put my work boots away i just had to get the baby out and go for a stroll round the farm, spied a fair few feral and collared doves around the corn store... Using the big tires on our Ford FW took a feral,whack nicely placed head shot sent it to the ground.. Picking up my first kill of the day and putting it in the game bag before one of the millions of farm cats got hold of it, walked round the corner to find about 10 collared doves on the power line took the closest one to me at about 30ish yards away a dull crack sent him to ground with not even a flutter, A few minutes later on the last leg of the short walk I spotted my final kill of the day another collared dove eating some corn on the stubble field, using the corner of the building as a rest sent a .22 to the brain, slumped to the ground twitched and lied still.
