yep them mink are to much for terriers better to grab them by hand lol

my lakeland will work whatever you want all day game as feck but took it down the dove at sudbury came across a big mink and it got the terrier in a head lock poked it in the eye and gave it the worst

It just shows how little you know it alls have done ......as there is no terrier (maybe a pitt) that would kill an adult dog mink single handed

30 inches not includeing the tail ...thats quite a small one must of been a young female

I think Scottish mink grow bigger though moo, is it the increased salmon in the diet boosting the omega 3 oil in the mink pituitary gland incresing the growth hormone?

best i have seen was a miniutare jack russel i owned that killed a 22 pound mink this dog only weighed in at 6 pound but was hard as feck ... i did have to dive in and finish the beast off with my swiss army knife but it was nearly dead so i give that one to the dog .........

Thats impressive socks, did the dog survive the battle, i heard a 26" 80lb bull cross was pulled into the River Dove near Sudbury and drowned by a 5lb mink bitch which then also charged the owner on the riverbank?

Especialy in the west coast of scotland as the mink theres staple diet is escapee farmed salmon and the high protien pellets that are fed to these salmon increases the the protien out put in the salmon when eaten by mink ...I have even heard that some young females of 32" not includeing the tail have been tackled by seasoned fox dogs and have failed ....The west coasters up here have added some fighting pitt blood shipped over from Albania (better not say too much about this on THL)to there earth dogs to deal with these critters .....sounds some russel that socks for a 6pounder to take on a 22pounder now thats GAME

I dont do that much earthwork but in my experience a mink is a much harder quarry for a terrier to work than a fox, mink willwrap themselves around a dogs muzzle and repeatedly scratch around a dogs eyes before biting the button of their muzzle. I have also seen mink pull a terrier from an earth and head for the nearest water source to drown the dog..........

Thats just ridiculous, a big cat wouldn't prey upon a mink, they avoid prey that could fatally injure them, dont you know anything, crikey.......

TOO FAR

I thought it was too, the Mink was well beaten. There was no need for the sloworm to finish it off...
