ftm 3,357
never seen it happen mate but the moggys might go to ground looking for a meal and the bunnys think its safer away from the warrens just a thought mind you as ive bolted many a cat when ferreting night mare to get out of the nylon purse nets im not a lover of cats especially feral ones as they kill to much wild life Quote Link to post
Tyla 3,179
Maybe because cats tend to ambush their prey, they wont chase in the open, so the rabbits are safer away from cover? Quote Link to post
festa 206
the rabbits are safer in the field as it can see anything that approaches if it went down the hole the cat might follow it and claim its meal ..also if its a doe she might have young down the burrow she will be hoping the cat follows her away from the burrow (and her young) cheers gary Edited July 30, 2011 by festa Quote Link to post
Sweeney-Todd 208
Rabbits are a curious breed and like us dont mind seeing a little pussy walking about in the fields Quote Link to post
stealthy1 3,964
Rabbits are a lot faster runners than cats, especialy the kttty kat stuffed moggies we have round here. Quote Link to post
