I've also been told they are good for filling an onion bag and dropping it in your water butt.......supposed to be great food for your tomatoes.

if your ever round the forest of dean bring a bag the free roaming sheep shit every where.

 

ive always put horse shit in a water butt give it a stir and let it ferment for a bit and it makes good liquid feed

 

helps if animals been mainly on grass or hay.

Yeah as the 2 guys said, makes a good liquid fertiliser but have never dug them in like manure though.

my old man used to ut sheep droppings in a sack in his water barrel.he was an avid gardener.grew tomatoes and had a grapes in the grenhouse.they were perfect so i guess it worked

Used like a tea bag, you'll have leeks like palm trees. Best results as a top dressing, watering can of the foul smelling stuff poured straight on top , you'll know how Jack felt when his beanstalk started going up
