Guest The Big Fish
Took a trip with Chalkwarren to Rabbiteer’s place today and met his young pup “SuperTed†™ He's the boy We then headed off to Bridport Nets to have a look around, Rabbiteer and his mate was keen to learn the secret art of netmaking and also keen to spend some hard earned vonga on netmaking material and tools. Here is a “Trammel net†in the process of being rigged. Rabbiteer and pal being shown the process of knitting a purse net. He was brave enough to give it a try himself. Information assimilated and money spent we headed off back home where he was desperate to start making his own nets and I suspect that’s exactly where he is now Hows that net coming on? Quote Link to post

Guest Rabbiteer
Its Fekking hard work. I have had to stop now because im starting to lose concentration. Im having no probs with the knots, but I keep finding a loop where I have gone around the board once to many times and cant untie the b*****d back to re do it, And it is always about 5 rows deep. All in all I had a great day out even though I was the brunt of many of the jokes.......... I swear super ted is looking at me as if to say "You stupid twat, you made that mistake last time. Even I can do better than that". It will knot beat me............... Quote Link to post
