skycat 6,174
There's a pair of munties often around early mornings in my neighbours overgrown and fairly unused garden and the one next door. They come in from a paddock which leads to the fields. I couldn't get a photo of this lad's missus, but they are both mature, well fed critters. Ooooh! The temptation! NOT! Just as well my dogs can't actually SEE them! There's that many round here, so my dogs are used to the smell of them in cover wherever we go. These two obviously know they are safe in the back gardens, though scarper at the slightest inkling there might be someone about. This lad is obviously no spring chicken: look at the curve to his horns. And they are fat! Photos were taken from my bedroom window: I tried to sneak down next doors garden one day, but couldn't get close enough before the muntiy did an Olypmic start and smashed through the hedge with a sound of breaking branches: they are tough little things and I love them to bits: both on a plate and to see out and about. Not brilliant pics as they were already getting twitchy as I opened the window.

skycat 6,174
I wouldn't dare! These gardens form an open square being overlooked by houses from all sides To be honest, there's so many round here that if I want one I know where to find them without risking the wrath of the curtain twitchers. Just so long as they don't find a way into my heavily fortified garden and eat all our veg. If they did I'd have no compunctions about letting the dogs in the veg garden: they'd be fair game for the mutts if they crossed that line. Imagine what my OH would say if he came back from work and discovered munties had trashed his beloved veg: it would be all out war on munties
