Ferreting in summer

whats peoples thoughts on ferreting at this time of year.

one of my new permissions has asked me if i would go and have a look as he is over run at the min, ive never been out in the summer before, so was just wondering people thoughts , advice, good and bad points .

Be prepared to wait a lot more them young bunnys are perfect for a ferret to catch, wouldnt really do it myself pal as it wud jst be lie up afta lie up. But u gotta keep people happy :thumbs:

One of the young guys was out last week ferreting gorse clumps and got 27 only one little dig ,i was to phone a guy to ferret his garden but been busy so i wouldn't have time this week but try to get round to it next week .

Did a one off garden job for a lady recently it went ok as it happens we got 7 with no hang ups but i certainly wouldn'd reccomend summer ferreting

This is NOT a dig a the people who ferret all year round good luck to them and i wish them all success in the world but its not for us
