What type of camera

Recommended Posts

Have a look round for a second hand Fuji Finepix mate, either on e-bay or those cash converter type shops. I bought one about 6 years ago and ive never had any problems with it and it takes great pics. theres also a fair bit of zoom on them. Am thinking of upgrading mine as its only 3 million pixels, but may bite the bullet and pay more for a Canon slr.

I wanted a new camera and looked heavily into it ..a lot of good pics Kay Romany Undisputed thumbstick to name a few are naturally good photographers and Hannah who does it for a living thumbs.gif. After much humming and harring i decided to go for a fix lens camera with manual settings and picked up a fuji finepix 5700 off ebay for £40 7mp witha 10x optical zoom. No it doesn't take the greeatest pics in the world but i'm finding it does the job for me and has enough on it for me to learn until i take the plunge until i decide to go the DSLR route . A few examples of what i've taken so far

I've had an Olympus Mju tough for about 3 years now, still going strong, they are waterproof, drop proof, freeze proof, and seem to take decent (indecent :whistling:) photos well enough for me.

The one I got was about £200, here's the better (newer) one than mine for half that much.

Hope that helps.
