I hunted with an Akita, she died this past November at 13 years with me on the floor with her. ... She was 125 pounds and all grit.Great dog. I have hunted with Treeing Walkers, Beagles, Bull Terriers, yep... Redbones, Greyhounds etc. I'am looking at all the sighthounds, and the Airedales. and Lurchers, Staghounds etc as we know them.
