I've hand reared most corvids and they all become a pain in the ass eventually, they become totally imprinted to humans and are hard to release once they've been hand reared, they will follow you around begging for food,sh*t all over the clothes line and garden furniture, lots of people bring me all sorts of animals and birds that are injured or fall out of nests, tins of dogmeat are good food for your crow,I trained a jackdaw last year to come down from the tree's or roof to a whistle,a mate took him in the end as a pet around his cottage, they are all very easilly reared but people think they're being attacked when the bird tries to land on them in the street and it can be a pain, wild animals should be in the wild where they belong and the least human contact the better, good luck, wirralman

i had a tame jackdaw and my mate had a tame magpie when we were kids but as wirral countryman says they can become a nuisance we had the same problems as he mentioned and it becomes worse if anyone is frightened of birds because they are pests when tamed
