moonlighter 1,165
It's really good stuff but expensive!
paulus 26
probably better off trying to workout why it has a bold patch before trying to treat it.

There are a number of possible treatable and untreatable causes, ie ring worm treatable, sebaceous gland less so, in either case the cream would not help.
skycat 6,174
I phoned camrosa to find out what is in their cream and how it works: they were not very forthcoming and didn't want to tell me what was in the cream, nor did they seem to know why it works!!! A lot of barrier type creams work by suffocating tiny mites (not talking about mange mites which live under the skin) which cause itching on the skin: and also help to keep known allergens off the skin, such as pollens. Sulphur based creams also seem to help a lot in the case of ongoing allergies/skin conditions. I read somewhere that sulphur can help to reduce the production of histamines, which cause the itching. Bloody hell skycat your sounding like me, a skeptic in the making? Shushycatcher it could well be the tail gland, Hepatoid glands, about a third of the way down on the upper aspect. http://www.springerlink.com/content/q630k3wm83417k12/ A pic of the tail and a close up of the site would help people give advice and if unsure a trip to the vet might help.
