Anyone lost 2 running dogs?

Recommended Posts

About 6pm today, I was just coming back from a mooch with the terrier and saw 2 running-dogs wandering around a village near me in Worcestershire. They both looked like workers and had about 3 inch leather collars.

One (i think it was a greyhound, grey/brown coloured) was caught by a local chap and taken to the pub to hopefully wait for the owner to arrive. The other (a fast black lurcher) ran off when we tried to catch it.

I haven't seen any threads on here about 2 lost running dogs in Worcs, so i assume they don't belong to anyone on THL.

I didn't put the village name as its only too easy for someone to say "oh yeah, they're mine" etc etc.

If you know anyone who has lost them pm me. Don't take the piss: I felt bad leaving the large dog with the guys in the pub but they found it and i couldn't really take it; feel even worse for the lurcher that legged it, he was terrified and whining like a scared pup.

Has their been any travellars camped nr by as their known to leave dogs behind as well as all the other rubbish when they up camp.

There's a p***y site about a mile and a half away but they haven't gone anywhere unfortunately. Feel really bad about the lurcher, not to mention the owner (if he is a decent bloke that is).
