The one 8,551
Only you should really know your ferret do you think she will eat them ??. if your in doubt leave her well alone till they start spilling out the nest box . Quote Link to post
DogMagic 461
She went to sniff them to make sure there ok, her kits are a VERY big thing in her life right now and she was apart from them for a while so when she got back she went to make sure they were ok, when she sniffed them there was no strange scents on them (because you didnt touch them did you) so she will have no reason to kill them, she will be happily letting them suckle instead. DogMagic 461
kay will the kits be okay with the sheet as bedding or will some die cause i am worried, i have also coverd the top hutch where she is in with a blanket so she in the dark the next day i was goin to clean her hutch out how can i do that thank you guys Mate sheets are ok, not ideal but there ok and in any case its to late now to be worrying about it. If you disturb her now (by destroying the nest and replacing it) she will kill the kits. Its not so bad anyway so stop worrying. As for cleaning the hutch out i wouldnt bother. Use a scraper to get the shit and piss soaked wood shavings out and replace them with fresh, she wont mind that. Just leave the nest alone. Quote Link to post
The one 8,551
While your feeding her clean out the corner she craps in ,and don't be tempted to over feed her and let her carry some threw to the kits where it will go off , Quote Link to post
