used to go to a place in south wales called kenfig hill, was the pool we used to go on an evening an watch flocks of what i guess to be 100's a thousands if not millions a starling flying in swarms before landing on the reeds,

 

 

 

was some sight an the noise is excellent :thumbs:

Funny seeing that Starling, I actually sat and watched one while I waited for a train today, and hadnt remembered how fantastic the colouring was on them...

 

Cheers for the comments everyone, yes, they are quite underaterd as a colourful bird, but at certain times of the year they can be, and when the light plays on them the colours are quite lovely
