danw 1,748
Eddie Chapman :whistling: if you like him or not you must admit that he is a great terrierman. I admire the fact that he WAS a great terrierman but I hate the fact that he has sold his soul for ££££ Quote Link to post
erik 71
sold his soul ... not totally true cuz i have see a guy who offerd him a shit load of money for a dog , he said no tured his back to the guy and offerd me mate that dog for free,,so i can't agree on the soul part but must agree that he sold allot for a high price but i also see "normal" people do that. Not going to argue with you mate just seen a lot of crap sold out his kennels some with such bad mouths its a wonder they could eat and seen the state of the kennels and cause of that I lost all respect for the man 1 Quote Link to post
Lost Generation 93
Alright lads we've all heard of the great terrier men of the north from years gone by. But was wondering was there any from the south? No mate, no terriermen at all in the South not even one, so, no terriermen obviously means no 'great' terriermen, however you might judge 'great'. Us soft southerners would be afraid to put a terrier down a hole and anyway we'd be too weak to dig one out and our hands would get all blistered and mucky if we tried so we wouldn't want to anyway. We leave terrier work to hard northern types and to welshies - at least when they can get their eyes off the sheep for long enough. Just out of curiosity, what do you mean by 'great' does great just mean well known or a prolific breeder of teriers or what? 1 Quote Link to post

marshman 7,758
I've read about good terrier men from years gone by and they all seem to be from the north . other than a few obvious names I can't recall any of the top of my head that many that come from the south. That's all really, also I what I meant by great is somebody that keeps good working dogs that I might have read about! Quote Link to post
