Moll. 1,793
Poultry theft is huge all over the country now....and getting bigger. Allotments are a favourite here, where my sister has hers, they come and only steal the pure breed birds, even take their eggs. And leave everything closed up again when they are finished. So it sounds like people with a knowledge and dare i say it...respect for poultry! Sadly they even took the eggs from under her broody duck, it only had 4/5 days to go, all that sitting for those eggs to perish I never let people come here for birds now, always go to meet them elsewhere. Sad you cannot share you hobby with others anymore.

trappa 518
Its a crying shame. I get my greenhouse and shed broke into regularly here and my dad gets loads of veg pinched too (ive never noticed if mine goes) but that doesnt compare to getting your hens pinched. Hope you find them and snap their knuckles. Thieving low lifes.
