You would think their legs would freeze off! They have evolved a special design of blood vessels,the warm blood going to the feet is in very close contact with the vessels full of near-freezing blood coming from the feet. This, apparently raises the temperature of the blood going to the heart a small amount and helps make everything more efficient. From what i can gather.. :victory:

 

:notworthy: Never knew that mate, I know I marvelled at him. He was feeding around "icebergs" flowing down the river, that shot was about 5 feet from me. You see these guys in ponds on parks rather than rivers but he held my respect that day I'll tell you.

Mortimers is the tightest tackle shop in the world. My mate had about £200 worth of lures on the counter and they still wouldn't knock a penny off! When he asked for a discount the man looked at him as if he had insulted his mother!

Aye mate, I know that look lol. I asked him if he sold ladies hunter wellies, you'd thought I'd asked him if he stocked condoms :icon_eek:

JD, when you next planning a visit to the Spey mate?

 

Probably summer i might bob up, I need to visit the cairngorms for something, though i doubt i will buy an Association ticket as i hear the fishing has been getting worse....Would be nice to photograph a capercaillie as i know a very good place for them... :angel:
