gnasher16 31,602
Well i just tried the t-cut on a shitty little tank in the garage and it hasnt touched it just made a dull haze which will probably come off but still got the scratch so not trying that on the other tank.... Its an expensive real fancy tank so think im gonna get someone in who knows what their doing.....replacing the pane is out as theres all other bits connected to it at the top where the hood is. That Rouge gear looks good but think ive lost my bottle now id rather someone else take the responsibility at least that way theres a claim to be made if it go,s wonky ....thanks for the suggestions anyway, not sure who to contact or the proper name for a glass expert
seany 54
Gnasher, jewellers rouge only works on normal plate glass ie glass thats not been put in a kiln and cooled quikley to make it toughened and I suspect if it's bow fronted then it will in fact be toughened. One way to check is for a saftey mark but I dont think you'll get that scratch out mate ATB Seany
