dont know what its like near you, but i done a 30 mile round trip today and counted 14 on the side of the roads, would this be cause the female are chucking last years young out ready for this years or are they all just unluck?

Same every year mate but 14 is excessive. They are definately unlucky lol :thumbs:

round trip eh? So was it just 7 but you counted them once there and once back?? :tongue2::whistling:

Recent wet weather has them on the roadside verges looking for worms, some streches of road have very high fatality rates.......

 

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm :hmm: so you think the verges have more worms than the fields?

You get worms on the tarmac too, along with road kill which attracts them, also boars moving settes will be crossin roads.........

badgers like kestrels have cottoned on to the vibration of heavy traffic keeps worms and voles active on the verges allways seems to be young badgers getting ran over

 

Deer must have cottoned on too mate, loads of them dead up here..... white hares too, rabbits, foxes....... all at certain times of the year.

vole eating deer and moutainhares chasing foxes must be on the magic mushrooms :thumbs:
