markha 99
Well I was just having a look to see how much room I had in my gun safe, so in went the 410 with scope, my Meteor with scope and the shotgun and my girls shotgun and found I just have room for 2 scoped guns and 2 shotties, not great when your applying for FAC with 3 calibres and need to buy an extra gun safe! Anyway, as I picked up the Meteor and it cried out to me to have a pellet put through it, so I obliged and decided it would be interesting to see what turned up on the chrono: Pellets were taken as being 8.87gr and the average results for my unfettled gun (apart from re-done the stock and some blueing) were: 6.73ftlbs 587ftps So for a gun made around 1978 its still going strong and I may even take it out for a bit of lamping over the weekend.
