Webley Raider 10 info and review wanted

Recommended Posts

Hi lads,

I have been looking at PCP rifles for Laura for when I return back from Canada as she wants to get into shooting and hunting more with me.

Laura is left handed so we looked firstly at the new Brocock Super 6 Concept for £430 and then at the Webley Raider 10 for £299.

Both rifles are ambidextrous and both are light and quite small in length so will suit her.

She would require a .177 as she would use it for some fun on the HFT course in Derbyshire with me as well as plinking and hunting, I would say when she is good enough but she is already a better shot than me anyway so ill leave it at that.

We really fancy the Webley Raider 10 and I have read some good reviews on it on the net and seen some impressive shooting with it on YouTube but just wondered if anyone on here as actually got one or used one and can give me a honest review on it?

I am looking at info on

Accuracy

Best fill pressure and how many shots at that fill pressure

A good pellet to start looking at in .177 that seems to suit the barrel well etc.

Cheers in advance

Si

Yes they are nice too mate. I do like AA rifles.

Why can't people get the Raider 10 mate?

Are webley not mass producing them?

The YouTube reviews are really impressive and the written reviews state 40 yard 5p size groups.

i dunno about the webley si, but that effort you bought, tested and returned to the shop while at mine was a brocock remember, and it was rubbish

shame shes a leftie, makes picking up a decent 2nd hander a bit trick, but surely that'd be better than a new not quite righty one, just be a matter of waiting a while for the right one to come up buddy?

cheers, wurz

Hi Si,

A lad I sometimes shoot HFT with had a Raider. I only had a few shots with it and found it ok, but I believe there are better rifles out there in that price range. The same bloke now has an S200 in .177, with a 10shot mag, retro fit. The accuracy of it rivals my R10 and Daystate MK3 no problems! There is also the chance to get the S200 Tench Regged at a later date

I really am a massive fan of these rifles. Superbly accurate, suit a ladies smaller frame, and ambidextrous to boot.

Just my two penneth pal.

Kind Regards,

Mikey.
