JohnGalway 1,043
Fine Gael have in their manifesto that they will repeal the Stag Hunting Ban. Whatever anyone thinks of Stag Hunting, it can only be a step in the right direction that a party with the chance of an over all majority recognize there's life outside of The Pale. Fianna Failure supported the Greens Ban and also FF's Dermot Ahern effectively banned centrefire pistol shooting in the country. Sinn Fein wish to fun the country with magic bean economics, they and the looney left and most independents are no more than a protest vote IMO. Promising the people various things knowing they don't have a chance to be in Govt and therefore won't ever have to deliver on those promises. Whatever way you vote, MAKE SURE YOU DO VOTE !! JohnGalway 1,043
Looks like a FG overall majority is off the cards, possible also a FG + like minded Independents. Exit poll this morning says: FF 15.1% FG 36.1% LAB 20.5% SF 10.1% Green 2.7% Ind 15.5% FF on 8% in Dublin. Predicted seat translations: FG 72 Lab 35 FF 20 SF 15 Greens 1 Independent the rest Disappointed with this as the likelihood is now a FG/Lab coalition unless the exit polls are wrong. However, last time out in 2007 they were correct to 0.05%.
JohnGalway 1,043
FF on 8% in Dublin. This number seems to be wrong. The Dublin constituency tallies have FF on the likes of 10/11/12%. Up to 16% in places. People ashamed to admit they voted FF?

JohnGalway 1,043
Sinn Fein are expected to get between 10 - 14 seats. Labour seem to have hurt them in Dublin.
