scalesntails 118
Been many many years since I had an air pistol but I believe they are limited to 6ft/lb whereas rifles are limited to 12ft/lb without a license.

RicW 67
Not coming the old acid mate, but why not ask in the airgun forum? There are some really helpful guys in there. Ric Edited February 16, 2011 by RicW
BEARINATOR 2,924
For shooting in barns have a look at the ratcatcher rifle, small, lightweight and about 9 foot pound http://www.tfmsuperstore.co.uk/product.lasso?product=Crosman-Ratcatcher-Air-Rifle-Co2-.22+26123

ratattack 111
Why not try sitting quietly and shoot them with the rifle. A pistol is ok but most are well under 6ftlb, the one i have is only 3ftlb but i can head shoot rats at 5yards with it. A pistol is harder to shoot accurately than a rifle in low light of a barn.
