bert the fert 28
I wonder if anyone fairly local can help ? Hubby brought home a middle aged springer bitch last September. She's patently been a kennel dog and is not house trained. I've had loads of rescue dogs over the years and have always managed to get them living clean in a short time. Not this one though. Coming downstairs every morning to the mess is getting me down. It's not just the puddles and sh1te, it's that she spins round excitedly in it before you can get her outside. The mess is indescribable some days, ground into the floor and splattered up the walls Anyhoo.... we're thinking that a gentle introduction into being crated might help matters. She's not great when restrained though, even putting her in the kitchen to eat her dinner sends her bonkers, so i'm a bit reluctant to just go and splash out quid on a cage in case it bombs. Does anyone have a cage i could borrow for a couple of weeks for a trial run ? I can pay in cakes

alphasha 0
Freecycle probably the best, you need a yahoo email account but this should start you off Check out www.freecycle.org for other cities and info on the movement. Good luck with her.
