matt_hooks 188
Mate, there's some kind of dead animal on your head... Oh, hang on, that's your HAIR?!?!?! :11: I had 4 the other day, 3 with the 12 bore and one with the .22LR. Been a while since I took the air rifles out after any prey, except the woodies in the back garden, cos they steal the chicken food. Quote Link to post
darren watson 14
i went back to where the woodies were roosting before christmas and scared off 100's of the bloody things, and would they come back again. before chrimbo they just used to return time and time again to the same couple of trees. more mooching in order me thinks Quote Link to post

jasper65 6
Good shooting mate . nice to see a grey squirrel meet its maker.. Is that a falcon Raptor skeleton you're useing there? I had a .177 Raptor a good few years ago and must say got pretty lethal with it but only used to get around 65 shots to a fill which was a killer when all I had was a styrup pump back then! after pumping that thing up it nearly put me in traction several times . Jasp its a PF18 i think its one of the new models after the FN series, not a full skeleton but the profile stock (which i personally think is sexier that the skelly version) its regulated i think so the shot counts not too bad,(if i got 65 clear shots at quarry on an outing it'd be a miracle!) a lovely gun, very manoueverable and light as a feather. Yeah, iv got a stirrup pump, and i only weigh 10 stone (after a big meal!) and it is knackering. especially from empty, first thing in the morning. well worth the effort though.
