Hi All.

 

Some may remember I got one of these mags to try out. ( A double )

First impressions were not good, sharp edges on the body, and sharp spring ends poking out the back.

 

Well today I tried to load the Mag in my friends Ultra, it would not fit, even after some carfull fiddling.

 

We then tried it in his BSA R10, that he had just zeroed.

It fitted into the rifle ok, but when firing the rifle, the MPI dropped by an inch!!

We could not figure out why, the only thing we could both think of, was that the skirts were being damaged during the probe loaing.

 

We both shot the R10, and both had the same result.

Switched back to the BSA Magazines, and bang on the middle again for both of us.

 

Not at all impressed with it, so sending it back to Chambers in the morn

 

 

Its a real shame, because it looked so well made.

Sory to hear that bill, its a shame when something that should be great turns out to be a dud, are you having a refund or a replacement?

Hows the ultra post tune up or was it an s200?

(My memory fails me)

Few of the lads on the BSAOG had the same problem mate, great idea in the making but with the same results as you are getting

Sory to hear that bill, its a shame when something that should be great turns out to be a dud, are you having a refund or a replacement?

Hows the ultra post tune up or was it an s200?

(My memory fails me)

Will be going for the refund mate, definatly do not want another one

Im waiting on the Ultra being tuned at the moment Ste.

I have already had the s200 regd by Simon.

Its good to know that its not just us that is having trouble.

That sounds very selfish dosnt it .......but I hope you know what I mean.

 

Looks like I will be sticking to the BSA Mags from here on in.

Hey Bill

 

After your initial asessment of it, I thought you may have had problems like damaged skirts etc....

You also mentioned that the pellets fell through easily.

I deffinately wont be purchaseing one now.

Explained the issues with the magazine, and he said they had a few complaints, but not many mentioning loss of accuracy.

Any how, he has agreed to refund me, which is good.
