great mooch

Recommended Posts

had a great mooch today 8am, 1st just me Tod +Bryn. Bryn was great finding stuff, knocked few rabbit+birds up. He working a thick edge+ditch , was deep in the edge could'nt see him, then came out of the edge about 120yds further up with a big rabbit. Feck knows where he found that.! He is more like a springer than a lurcher, a brill hunting dog with great nose. Tod was just walking by me, Bryn always does is on thing. Even when i have been out with other lads+dogs, mick(doga) as said the thing , Bryn leves the other dogs and goes solo .lol Then went with Doga 1.30 pm was out for 3hours had great mooch dogs loved,

it will all help Tod mixing with other dogs. And learning him feild craft ( edges, ditchs, fences, pools, he not keen on water just like Bryn lol. he mixes with micks dog running about, and useing is nose great. When i got back Tod had is dinner, then slept like a log , well he is only 5 month old lol

Tod's a beautiful brute of a pup. You should teach him to get in the bath on his own so you don't break your back when he gets bigger.

you right  , not seen many pups as (big) as him at this age . I let him jump just a little bit nothing to high, as he so heavy yet. And you are right he is heavy when i lift over fences
