salukis pre ban

hello all just wondering if anyone has seen or heard of a pure saluki doing the odd fox pre ban i no they wouldnt be an out an out foxing dog and not a breed picked to do foxing just wondering if it hapend thanks all jack

I had one doing everything single pre-ban, it was never that good on fox compared to my other lurchers though

I would of thought Saluki/Grey would of been better for the job if you wanna stay with the sighthound blood.

 

Obviously a dash of bull blood would of been beneficial too.

 

What do people make of salukis generally? I get the impression they are like marmite, either loved or hated. My pup is 1/4 saluki and has got saluki ears and a bit of feathering. He is also a stubborn #**#** lol. I believe thats a saluki trait?

my mate had a saluki grey that loved fox was the best dog i have ever seen on them would make catching them look so easy and could finish them off fast would pick them anywhere he could but as soon as he got a chance for the troat he would get it and good nite fox.have a bich here and she aint 2 to bad either still young but learning all the time
