Paul in North Lincs 15
Just go back to basics mate...recall...recall and more recall...you,ll get there in the end got to agree there....there's no substitute for good basic training for. On the flip side...if the dog gets zapped everytime its has a run....this will only deter it form running again!!!! so to answer you question...........I dont think it will work Quote Link to post

TOMO 29,038
had her since she was a pup go back to basic recall mate,,, make shure you use one word for her to come back, like "HERE" or "COME", whatever you use stick to it. you can youse a long length of rope, and repeatedly whilst on walks use the comand , and if she doesnt respond gently pull her to you. then reward her streight away , food and praise. keep doing it Quote Link to post
shushycatcher 219
do you turn the lamp off if she misses? Or keep following her with it if she runs on? Quote Link to post
AL BUNDY 45
try it on yourself first.this will give you a better idea if it will work. Quote Link to post
Casso 1,261
your problem now is everytime she goes into a field her drive kicks in, and unless the two of you have got some sort of bond that also relates to her drive, its very hard to make yourself more interesting than chasing bunnies round even in the dark,, if ya do any training with her , do it in the field, your probably the most interesting thing at home for her, only because theres no bunnies there and she knows that,, Quote Link to post
!!Lurcher96!! 12
i turn the lamp off if she misses Quote Link to post
