Yep, as you know yourself mate, you can do all the calculations in the world and ensure that your combo is as calibrated as possible but on the day if you dont shoot straight or miss judge your hold over / under (depending on you aim point) you will miss just as i did

I get my new rifle now on Sunday so I've been washing and lubing up some Bisley Magnums ready for Sunday night down at Marks farm.

It is pretty lousy weather over here in Pontefract and that's extending out to Hull way . It's looking set for rain again this weekend and I've got 3 tasty new scopes I'm itching to get some decent all-range target time with.

 

Hope you have a great night's shooting with your new baby Si. Especially after recent events with your spring rifles. Enjoy it mate.

Hi Simon,

 

Thanks for your kind wishes. I'm sure Sunday night will be really good. I haven't never had a bad shoot at marks place. The place is crawling with vermin. I'm taking the new Sony video camera with me with super night shot and my home made ir illuminator so hopefully will get tonnes of good footage.
