fry 209
Hi Fry buddy, Where this one was shot there are tonnes of them. They actually do alot of good for the planet and plant many trees each year, but in large numbers they devastate song bird numbers so need to be controlled. Si i only shoot rabbits and bloody rats (in my garden) a side affect from continually feeding birds Quote Link to post

zini 1,939
No they don't interest me 44. £1200 for something that a gun for half the cost can do. My retirement present to myself is going to be a Theoben S Type in .177 calibre but with a Twink Mark 2 silencer fitted instead of the vortex model. That's if Laura don't buy me one first with a little nest egg she could be getting soon. If she gets me one first then I'll treat myself to a Weihrauch HW100KT again in .22 as i wished i never sold mine now and miss it and a Air Arms Pto Sport in .22. Quote Link to post

zini 1,939
Hi John, I know that you look after her mate, and I'm really glad that you have her now. I'll get another one hopefully as good as her again in .22 within the next 2 years. Didn't think I'd miss her as much as I do bud. Didn't even use her half as much as the r10 but miss her now as the Pro Sport. Never thought of a .20 mate to tell you the truth. My first love is .22. The S Type in .177 is going to be a rifle I use if I ever start HFT when I'm back in the UK and one I use for a bit of fun here and there and odd bit of bunny shooting at night along with my .177 Ultra. The HW100KT in .22 will be my other day time hunting rifle. Si Quote Link to post
gurtwurz 792
si mate its funny innit, i kinda miss the .20 R10 i passed on so i could buy your hw100, although thats probably cos it was lighter and easier on the elbow... i'd be very interested in your thoughts on the theoben as compared to both the '100 and the r10, specially on the trigger now theyre using the mark 4. my .20 mk1 rapids got the old gamo version and its not great, but once used to it i was banging em over with it. still havent got round to fixing the leak on it yet, due to das kraut being so damn efficient all the best, john Quote Link to post

pianoman 3,589
Excellent work, shooting and filming Si. I very much admire the fact that you leave your misses in alongside the successful strikes. That shows how shooting is still an art with an element of the unpredictable as much as a science with all it's predictive, calculation solutions working successfully together Great stuff mate.
