ferreting advice needed

hi am new to ferreting and just wanted to no when you have worked a warren how long before you go back to it

All depends bigun , if it's pest control you can do it two weeks later , but I think most leave it a good while also depends on numbers

It depends if you are wanting to wipe out the rabbits completely, on one of our permissions we were doing the same sets every week or two for about 2 months, obviously some are comletely empty, but sometimes you get one or two out of some of them and on occasion you may get the odd set that gives you a few more.

If you are doing it for sport then my advice would be dont hammer them too much because you will kill it for next year.

after doing the hole fill them in and then maybe a week later go back and if they have been dug out then do it again if not leave it for abit longer

Ive got a 50 acre piece surrounded by three good rabbit holding farms and i go once a fortnight from august to april and can get rabbits there

The warrens we do are normally empty when we leave, so the short answer would be to ferret the warren the next time the dogs show some interest in it
