just got the s410 on the crono as iv just started to use the chair gun pro program.

 

so put her on to get some accuret readings, and im not a happy chappy.

 

the guns in her sweet spot of 180bar and the readings are not as they were. she only running 9.96fpds at 531 fps.

 

now id like her to be doing a little more however she is an anti tamper version, and after routing through the old tool box i have non of the security hex keys that i need to turn her up a little.

 

so my question is do's anyone no where i can get them from, i only want the one not a full kit as they will never get used, or if any one has one they can post to me and ill returne after a day or so i would be very gratefull.and willing to pay for the kindness.

 

the other thing is i lost one of the feet of the bipod on the last outing again any ideas where to get a new set?

 

any advice or help welcome.

If its a hex head , its not Anti Tamper , an Anti Tamper head looks like this -

 

 

An Anti Tamper model will also have `plugs ` to prevent any internal modifications .

 

 

 

Chances are if its just a `hex ` it wont be A/T , and the tool in question will be a T10 bit .

for some reason id got it in my mind that the hex ones were anti tamper, when now you have kindly refreshed my memory iv seen the plug type befor

 

one of my regular customers just came in as i put the post up and has very kindly nipped home and fetched me one.

 

so the problem is now pritty much solved.

 

11.97 at 582fps with aa feilds.

i dont ever use any other pells and if i do will be altering the gun.

 

the s300 i had befor this was running the same.

 

no the risk, and on my head be it,as they say.

 

but as is im breaking no law.

the police will put any pellet they can to push it over the 12 an then its to your rifle and a caution at best.

Hi Andy,

 

From a mate to a mate buddy I would seriously look at nipping a bit off that power profile if you can buddy and its a simple task to do.

 

With the warmer weather in the Summer or a sharp deviantion in shot to shots you could go over the limit mate.

 

11.5 is plenty buddy honestly and to be honest you or ChairGun wont see any difference but the police will.

i very awear of this fact my freind.

when i had the s300 i did speak to the local firearms office and told him what the rifle was running, and as he said its under the limit.

he did also infor me that if they ever had a reason to test the rifle, they would with 6 different pellet weights and some of these would show the power to be over.

but he also said i understand that you will use the same pellet due to accurecy and performance and the fact of not altering the scope all the time. and why therefor would you not want to get the best performance out of you rifle that you can.. as he and i agreed would be a gray area and the nature of the reason for the rifle beeing test would be a main part in the way that the dission swang.

its a gray area i no, but one im fully awear of.

He is a decent fella have known him a number off years. Never had any probs with the s300 but you never no. Think ill drop her to 11.5 keep us all sleeping abit better.

Just a warning to other 410 user tho it took less than a turn of said screw to jump 2flp. So if you are adjusting go steady.

o yeah i have been there cronoed mine on a full charged tampered with it cronoed it again weeks later at 150 FAC easy done. 11.5 is ample. cus you never know when some busy body is going to phone the police and they like to justify sending out the armed response team. even on places i have written permission on i like to not be seen by walkers and the like. atb .

Oh, know what you mean mate. One of my permissions is surrounded by public land all around- there's sports fields on two sides, and a public park/lake on another (but there's a bank about 7ft tall surrounding most of it). There's a fence that runs through the middle, and I found that if I stand at the gate, and keep still, basically the entire property is in range, and I can shoot the bunnies as they appear in all directions. More than once I've had a chap standing at the top of the bank watching me intently. Even though I'm doing absolutely nothing wrong, it makes you incredibly uncomfortable!!
