SAT NAV BLUNDERS

Recommended Posts

We were up in Sheffield, on a moor during the summer when we noticed an Asda van bumping down what can only be described as a quad track :whistling: .

Turns out he had followed his sat nav which showed the track as a road and then couldn't turn back

By the time he got tho the end of the track (parts of which are barely suitable for a quad due to erosion from rainwater) he had two buckled whels, a f****d sump, deep gouges down either side and minus his rear bumper/step.

As decent human beings, we laughed...lots. Then took some photos, so here are a couple for your amusement.

Question is, has your sat nave ever led you to some funny places, wrong directions etc or have you heard of any bad ones.

P.S where the photos were taken was at the end of the track, which is the easiest going bit of the 4 mile stretch!

That don't sound right to me, police need more info than a previously visited address to obtain a search warrant from a court.. :hmm:
