desert hunter 41
My old mans trying to help guys who have had dogs taken by SSpca a lurcher thats won shows NRTH and Sth of the border 1 ex cop Mark Rafferty claims dogs underweight the dogs then seized the SSpca wont answer letters from lawers and vets thats how much pish it is. The last two cases my old man was involved in Gamekeepers were charged with failing to provide vetinary attention as the terriers had scars from foxwork this was despite the estate having its own vet. You better have a serious read at the animal welfare act they were even charging the keepers with keeping dogs to engage in an animal fight Pish I hope you have a good lawer because by the time legal aid is awarded theyve had months to build a case. Remember Name Rank and Serial number until you speak to a SPECIALIST lawer so no comment till you are lawered up. That maybe so..... doesn't detract from the question I asked now does it... I'll ask it again... are you telling me the SSPCA can take my dog off me if I dont keep up its innoculations? no but they could take it off ya because its in urgent need of fresh air because you are always on here scs hunter Quote Link to post

events co-ordinator 353
They are using ANY excuse to take working dogs because once they have them it costs YOU money to get them back the figure I was Quoted was £15,000 thats if you need an Advocate its conceivable they would even take your dog if it was needing wormed, two cases recently the lurchers have been seized because they are UNDERWEIGHT this is on the OPINION of a failed cop so far we,ve got one back the legal team on that occasion were 2 top class soliciters an Advocate a QC Three expert witness's two of whom were vets one of the vets was also a QC in England. I could not guess at the cost of this defence all I Know is that without legal insurance not many of us could afford them. I did not say this for nothing check the Animal Welfare Act 2006( Scotland), play devils advocate think up how many ways you can see to take someones dogs off them because thats exactlly what the SSpca are doing so you call it pish I just wish you were right Quote Link to post
