my lurcher has just gotten dog agressive, since being attacked by a lab in the park, he shook it around but i was'nt too worried as he was defending himself, but while out working cover yestarday he got stuck into two of my mates lurchers,

 

has anyone had this problem and has anyone got the dogs out of this behavior

i noticed that my dog has become a bit more aggressive since getting a few kills. its never ended up in a fight yet so hopefully it just stays at the growling.

a gsd chaced mi bitch and try atacking her and jumping on her now she wherey of bigger dogs and wil snap out if other dogs try jumping on her

He could have needed to let off a bit of steam , usually a dog who takes a bit of a whooping but didn't start the row , will start the next one himself, it may never occur again , was it a young dog, ? the age will make a difference, the younger the dog the more of an impression it will leave in his mind, with an older dog its usually shrugged off very soon,

a dog that knows his job doesn't bother with that sort of shite, unless hes frustrated with something,or still learning his trade,,best of luck,

i was a bit unclear in my post, my dog is nearly 5 years old, and i've never had any problems with him before with other lurchers, sometimes he will pull to get at small dogs, but hes grand with my terriers, the lab snapped at him but my dog took hold and would'nt let go, i think he has a taste for other dogs now,
