Hannah4181 260
Dogs look in great shape . . . . the pup seems to have come good?? Certainly doesn't effect her jumping! Quote Link to post
shepp 2,285
How much bull is in the fawn bitch and how do they compare intelligence wise? Edited October 10, 2010 by shepp Quote Link to post
collie/grey 238
Thanks Hannah, the pup is comeing on well and she does jump well cinsidering BUT after a good few decent runs is when her leg flares up and she limps something chronic, but she will have a use hopefully but none the less she loves life to the full! Shepp the fawn bitch is roughly a half cross over 3 generations and the difference in brain is definately apparant but she is fairly easy to train in that she is incredibly willing to please, like say if i tell her to get in the pond she will look at me as if to say do i have to? Then she will Whereas the collie x will say f**k off im not that daft, get in yourself but she is very bright in comparison, it doesn't bother me in the least as they both please me and i like the differences in character Quote Link to post
shepp 2,285
Both look in great condition, I like the way the bull cross looks at you, quite an intense stare. I am starting to warm to the cross in recent months after hearing lots of good things about temperament and drive in the field. I plan to keep an open mind on my next choice of dog in a couple of years time. Thanks Quote Link to post

Thanks Thankyou for the compliment, i don't think you can go wrong with the right bull cross tbh, when the pup stares at me like that is when im winding her up, like saying to her 'what is it', 'get it', 'find it' just to get her to look at the camera for long enough or if i say 'comein to get ya' and we chase each other lol, the collie x does it to but the bull cross is more full on in everyway, no bush, bramble, fence phases her and she would die trying to get something im sure of it, the collie x will not put as much effort in if she thinks it's not worth it, i think that's brains others think time wasting but each to their own! Cheers samba!! Jodie is recovering slowly still not aloowed walks yet though Quote Link to post
