FightTheBan 1,147
Go and chap farm doors. Hundreds of them and don't get disheartened. Or help out keepers who don't do terrierwork themselves. Quote Link to post

CO CHISE 270
as been said pal you need to get out and do abit of door knocking, ive found it easyer to get ratting permission and then its lead on to other pest control from there, if you can try to travel abit further out and you mite get abit more luck, you will get more knock backs but just keep on trying, best of luck, Quote Link to post

Born Hunter 17,646
local keepers have terrier men on.. Very different to my part of the country then. Round here most keepers dont have a dedicated terrierman and are pleased to find one. If its your sorta thing then beating for a couple of shoots during the season will be productive. Once youve shown your face, alot of keepers dont mind you bringing a couple of terriers on couples for the day out, gets yourself chatting to others about them and before you know it youve got your first do with the keeper checking earths. Above all be professional and errr on the side of caution and you will find your the only terrierman allowed on the shoots because your the only one the keepers trust. Quote Link to post
